This Warranty Policy explains the coverage available for our watches, what is excluded, and how to submit a warranty claim.
1. Warranty Period
All eligible Zivtime watches are covered by a 12-month limited warranty from the date of delivery.
This warranty covers qualifying manufacturing defects in the watch movement, 18K gold-plated finish, synthetic stone settings, and product assembly, subject to the terms and exclusions outlined below.
Proof of purchase may be required to verify the delivery date and warranty eligibility.
2. What Is Covered?
During the warranty period, Zivtime will review claims involving the following issues:
Watch Movement and Functionality
Manufacturing defects that cause the watch to stop functioning or operate incorrectly under normal use.
18K Gold-Plated Finish
Manufacturing defects in the plating process that cause abnormal or premature peeling or deterioration of the gold-plated finish.
Gold plating is a surface finish, not solid gold. Gradual fading or wear caused by regular use is not automatically considered a manufacturing defect.
Synthetic Stones and Settings
Manufacturing defects in the installation or setting of synthetic stones, including stones that become loose or detach because of a verified manufacturing defect.
Product Assembly
Manufacturing defects involving the watch’s construction, connections, or components that affect its intended function or structural integrity.
All claims are subject to assessment to determine whether the reported issue results from a manufacturing defect.
3. What Is Not Covered?
This warranty does not cover the following, unless otherwise required by applicable law:
- Normal wear and tear resulting from everyday use.
- Gradual fading, scratching, or wearing away of the gold-plated finish through regular use.
- Damage caused by perfume, lotions, cosmetics, cleaning products, chemicals, sweat, moisture, or other environmental factors.
- Scratches, dents, discoloration, or other cosmetic damage caused by everyday handling or external factors.
- Damage caused by dropping, impact, crushing, bending, or other accidents.
- Synthetic stones that are chipped, cracked, lost, or detached because of impact, improper handling, or normal wear and tear.
- Damage resulting from misuse, neglect, improper storage, or failure to follow product care instructions.
- Damage caused by unauthorized repairs, alterations, or modifications.
- Battery depletion or replacement, unless expressly covered by the applicable product warranty.
- Water damage caused by exposure beyond the product’s stated water-resistance rating or contrary to its instructions.
- Lost or stolen products.
- Defects or damage caused by repairs or modifications performed improperly by an unauthorized service provider.
A claim involving a missing stone, a change in plating appearance, or a malfunction will be assessed based on the circumstances and available evidence. The presence of damage alone does not determine whether the issue is covered.
4. How to Care for Your Zivtime Watch
Proper care can help preserve the appearance and functionality of your watch, especially its gold-plated finish and decorative stones.
We recommend that you:
- Avoid direct contact with perfume, lotions, cosmetics, and cleaning chemicals.
- Keep your watch away from excessive moisture and sweat.
- Remove your watch before showering, swimming, exercising, or engaging in activities that may expose it to water or impact, unless the product specifications expressly permit such use.
- Avoid dropping the watch or applying excessive pressure to its decorative stones.
- Clean the watch gently with a soft, dry cloth.
- Avoid abrasive cleaners, polishing compounds, and harsh chemicals.
- Store your watch in a dry, protected place when it is not being worn.
Gold plating naturally experiences wear over time. Proper care can help preserve its appearance but cannot prevent all gradual wear.
Always follow the care instructions provided for your specific product.

6. What Happens If Your Warranty Claim Is Approved?
If a claim is approved, Zivtime will provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with the applicable warranty and applicable law.
Depending on the nature of the defect and product availability, the remedy may include:
- Repairing the affected component, where repair is available.
- Replacing the watch with the same or an equivalent product.
- Providing another appropriate remedy where required by applicable law or agreed upon by Zivtime and the customer.
The appropriate remedy will depend on the type of defect, whether repair is available, and whether a suitable replacement can be provided.
If the original product is unavailable, our support team will contact you to discuss an appropriate alternative or another available remedy.
7. Shipping and Warranty Costs
Please contact our support team before returning a watch for warranty inspection.
If your claim is approved, we will explain the applicable return shipping arrangements and any costs before the product is sent.
Shipping costs associated with an approved warranty claim will be handled in accordance with the applicable product warranty and applicable law.
Customers should not send products to Zivtime without first receiving return instructions.
8. Warranty Eligibility
To verify eligibility, Zivtime may request an order confirmation, receipt, or other reasonable proof of purchase.
Warranty coverage applies only to qualifying defects that occur within the applicable warranty period.
Zivtime reserves the right to assess each claim based on the information provided and the results of any necessary inspection. Claims involving damage caused by excluded circumstances will not qualify for coverage under this policy.
Nothing in this section limits any rights that cannot lawfully be restricted under applicable consumer protection laws.
